Still need to have developed the pictures from the day spent on the water at the Antelope Point Marina on Lake Powell. That was a neat place. This is in Page, AZ. It's very 'deserty' there, with lots of leezards running around. I believe it's either on or very near to the Navajo reservation there. That seems to be a first-class marina. There were multimillion dollar houseboats, and every now and then someone would dock in a jon boat. The fish are pretty much the same that we have in our lakes here. Weird.
Anyway, here are pictures from Thursday, June 14, 2012. We stayed in Flagstaff, which is a quick drive to Oak Creek Canyon's wonderful Slide Rock State Park. As long as you're @ Slide Rock, you might as well drive over to Sedona, so we did that too. Didn't stray too far off the tourist path there, but it's always nice to visit.
Here are the pics:

Slide Rock State Park. Natural "water slides" along this cold mountain stream. I got in for about 5 minutes. Very cold. As you'll see, Phil & Philip did The Jump. I now wish I'd have done it. Kelly passed on the cold water! |

Phil ready to hit the water. The water was COLD! |
